FTC new rules coming today

It's been a long time coming for mobile developers, but today the FTC is set to release its new rules on child privacy as it relates to mobile apps.

This could be detrimental for many developers with children's apps published in the marketplaces because depending on the restrictions, it could prohibit them from even allowing children to play against each other anonymously in some games.

This could also affect mobile developers in general if the type of legislation being handed down restricts certain types of location data for marketing and advertising inside our apps.
