It doesn’t look like the freemium app monetization movement is showing any sign of slowing down and companies that provide developers and publishers with advertising and monetization products continue to react to this market reality with new offerings.
And another product has entered the fray:
MobWidget by MobPartner, a mobile affiliate platform company headquarter in France. The new offering is the company’s newest advertising display ad unit that offers recommendation-based app discovery to drive developer revenues.
MobWidget is HTML-based (no SDK) making it compatible with iOS and Android apps, as well as desktop and mobile web pages. It also compatible with MobBridge, MobPartner’s recently released tool that helps convert desktop online browsing into mobile app installs.
MobPartner promotes MobWidget’s self-service use, ease of customization/individual branding, and its ability to be implemented with a few lines of code. The apps displayed are dynamically inserted using real-time targeting, and are selected to be highly relevant to an individual consumer with the goal of an improved conversion rate without disrupting the user experience.
