Vision Mobile Releases “The European App Economy” Report

Vision Mobile has released a new research report, The European App Economy, which analyzes the relative sizes of the app market in the European Union. The report tracks app revenues and jobs generated by the app economy in the EU28.

In addition to the statistics provided in the report, it also provides recommendations on how the EU can leverage and grow its app economy. The report estimates the following app economy impact statistics: 794,000 jobs across the whole economy; 529,000 direct app economy jobs, 60% of which are developers; 22% of the global production of app-related products and services comes from the EU; and revenues of more than €10 billion per annum
