Blue University LIVE Provides IoT Bluetooth Technology Training for Developers

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has announced the 2016 dates for its Blue University LIVE, a global series of full-day training sessions for developers new to Bluetooth technology. 

Blue University LIVE provides the opportunity for developers to learn how to build and connect Bluetooth enabled products. The in-person training sessions gives developers the tools and resources needed to turn ideas into reality for the Internet of Things (IoT). 

Blue University LIVE covers the entire process of development, from initial coding to marketing. Working sessions include using the Bluetooth Developer Studio, creating sample code, implementing code, building mobile applications, and Bluetooth SIG product qualification requirements. 

Platinum sponsors for Blue University LIVE include Allion Test Labs, Dialog Semiconductor, Ellisys, Insight SiP, Nordic Semiconductor, and Teledyne LeCroy. All session attendees will receive a downloadable sample project, sample code, and developer kits from Nordic Semiconductor and Dialog Semiconductor.

Smart Starter Kit: A comprehensive package of hands-on labs and sample source code that walks developers through assembling a Bluetooth low energy device from basic parts and create a mobile app to go with it.

Bluetooth Developer Studio: An application development and debugging tool with a simple, graphical interface. Use existing, adopted specifications, or create custom services. There is a library of plugins that can be added to a project that provide a ready source of integration.
