AOptix Releases SDK for iOS Mobile Identity System

Posted on Sunday, August 4, 2013 by STUART PARKERSON, Global Sales

AOptix has announced a new SDK that leverages iPhone optics for identity verification and communications.

AOptix 'Stratus' integrates iris, fingerprint, voice and face recognition through its AOptix open architecture platform. The new service was developed to capitalize on the demand for Smart Mobile Identity including biometric identification, identity management and mobile based enterprise data analytics which are especially sought after by military and police forces.

The SDK is available in a basic capture package which includes all of the elements to integrate iris, face, fingerprint, voice, and context image capture into custom iOS applications. The communications package streamlines the secure exchange of data with industry standard and custom-built backend biometric systems. A people database package offers secure storage of collected biometric and biographic data on a iOS device.

Sample Applications are available on the AOptix website to give developers compile-able source code samples of the views and methods included in the package.

To compliment the iOS device capabilities AOptix offers the AOptix Stratus MX, a hardware peripheral that houses an iPhone 4/4S and enables iris, fingerprint, face, and voice biometric verification capabilities.
