Android Wear to Offer Music Playback and GPS Support

Google has announced that Android Wear users will now have the ability to listen to offline music via Bluetooth headphones as well as having access to GPS support for watches with a GPS sensor. Users will now also be able to download custom watch faces.

Current Android powered watches that are commercially available include the LG G Watch, Samsung Gear Live and the Moto 360. Other watches on the horizon include Asus Zen Watch, LG G Watch R, and the Sony SmartWatch – all expected to be available by the holiday shopping season.
