Acision has announced several enhancements to be available in its newest release of the forge by Acision platform, which provides a suite of APIs and SDKs for enterprise cloud-based messaging, voice and video.
Included is a new self-service developer portal providing access to the forge SDK, APIs and A2P messaging services. After signing up for an account, enterprise developers can trial and go live with real-time communication capabilities in their own mobile or web apps, such as SMS and IP messaging, voice and video chat and presence, all fuelled by WebRTC technology.
Also, as a result of the integration of the recently acquired MindMatics Secure Messaging platform, Acision will integrate A2P messaging services with multi-factor authentication and one-time password capabilities into the forge platform. The integration with MindMatics means enterprises can access the new forge cockpit to initiate mobile messaging campaigns in order to engage in two-way dialogue with their customers and employees. The release offers enhancements including one-time passwords, mobile PINs and the consistent use of two channels (SMS and web) for authentication.
The forge SDK will also now support push notifications as well as integration with Office 365, LinkedIn and the Janrain customer identity management platform. In addition, distinct levels of end-to-end secure messaging capabilities will be interoperable with fuseMe by Acision, the company’s white-label, all-in-one communication app.
