Tuxera’s AllConnect SDK Provides a Mobile Streaming Solution Across Devices

Tuxera, a provider of file system and streaming technologies, has announced its AllConnect SDK, a cross-platform content streaming solution which provides compatibility with all devices that support Apple Airplay, Google Chromecast, DIAL or DLNA standard.
The SDK helps meet the challenge of accessing, managing and streaming any content from a growing number of storage locations including local memory, media servers, online services and the cloud to all the connected devices.
Tuxera’s s AllConnect SDK provides a platform that allows every device to communicate with each other regardless of operating system, and protocol. The SDK is fully software based, ships on both Android and iOS, and does not depend on additional hardware. Any application built on top of the AllConnect SDK will enable the user to access data from any source, and display it or listen to it on any connected device nearby including Apple TV, Airport Express, all the smart TVs from Samsung, Sony and LG, popular set-top boxes such as Amazon Fire TV, Roku and others as well as most wireless speakers.
“AllConnect grew from the frustration that things like DLNA never worked and people didn’t know how to configure and use them. As a result today most Wi-Fi streaming solutions are tied to a specific manufacturer, platform or ecosystem. AllConnect changes all that. We are really proud to release the first fully interoperable streaming solution that just works with everything and is super easy to configure. Tuxera is ready to ship and support AllConnect SDK to device manufacturers, content providers and independent app developers worldwide,” commented Mikko Välimäki, Tuxera CEO.
