  • The next phase of the Project Wisdom initiative brings an intelligent, natural language processing capability for Ansible automation. Coming in tech preview, Ansible Lightspeed with IBM Watson Code Assistant infuses domain-specific AI to make Ansible more accessible organization-wide, helping to close automation skills gaps.

  • Event-Driven Ansible extends the value of IT investments across the enterprise, freeing teams to innovate without compromising the quality and response times necessary in modern IT environments. After the always-on automation receives events from third-party tools, it uses pre-determined responses to act automatically, enabling a more efficient and consistent IT management response.
     

Red Hat OpenShift AI Accelerates Generative AI Adoption Across the Hybrid Cloud

Red Hat Red Hat Introduces Red Hat Trusted Software Supply Chain

  • Red Hat Trusted Software Supply Chain is a family of cloud services for meeting software supply chain security needs, building on Red Hat’s 30+ years of experience in delivering curated, hardened open-source software by putting this expertise directly into the hands of enterprise IT. Two new cloud services highlight this portfolio; Red Hat Trusted Application Pipeline offers CI/CD with built-in security gating, while Red Hat Trusted Content provides open-source software dependencies and verified packages to accelerate delivery while increasing security.
     

Red Hat Introduces Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security Cloud Service to Scale Cloud-Native Security Across the Hybrid Cloud

  • Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security Cloud Service brings Kubernetes-native security capabilities together with the convenience of a fully supported, Red Hat-managed cloud offering. The service supports Red Hat OpenShift on private and public clouds as well as non-Red Hat Kubernetes services across major public clouds, including Amazon EKS, Google GKE, and Microsoft AKS.
     

Red Hat Announces Red Hat Service Interconnect

  • Red Hat Service Interconnect is a more secure and scalable solution to application interconnection challenges, designed to connect applications and microservices across the open hybrid cloud. Based on the upstream open source project, Skupper.io, Red Hat Service Interconnect enables developers to easily migrate applications across multiple environments and create interconnections to communicate across container clusters in different networks and behind firewalls, without complex configurations and overhead.
     

Red Hat Simplifies Management for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Across the Hybrid Cloud

  • Red Hat views the need for flexibility and standardization as paramount to successful hybrid cloud adoption, with Red Hat Enterprise Linux uniquely positioned to answer these demands. The new management capabilities, offered through console.redhat.com, build on Red Hat Insights - Insights can find potential issues, whether a bug, misconfiguration, or vulnerability, and admins can then use the console to push a fix with a single button click. This same console also houses updates to the Red Hat image builder service, which can build standardized gold operating system images that can be deployed across environments near-instantaneously.
     

Red Hat Unveils Self-Managed Internal Development Platform To Power Agile Development

  • Red Hat Developer Hub is a self-managed internal developer platform crafted from Spotify’s Backstage, designed to improve the developer experience on Red Hat's open hybrid cloud platforms. Red Hat Developer Hub provides a consistent self-service experience, leveraging an array of clearly-defined golden paths and supported Red Hat Plug-ins for Backstage to accelerate the onboarding and delivery of new applications.

  • Red Hat to Help Transform the Automotive Industry at the Edge with ETAS
    • Red Hat and ETAS will work together to deliver an in-vehicle automotive platform that will lower the development cost and further accelerate the time to market for automakers. With a pre-integrated and pre-tested foundational platform, automakers will have a streamlined out-of-the-box developer experience to deliver application software running on an ETAS deterministic middleware solution, driven by Red Hat In-Vehicle Operating System.
