Developer Tech is going to get the last word in for 2012 on the war of the native vs. web apps. This is a nice report and covers most of the associated pro's and con's. In the end I think there is plenty of room for both platforms because each offers a unique experience and delivery mechanism.

It's a fairly long comparison but is worth the read -especially if you are not familiar with all of the differences.
